The Smoke Detector Problem | Stop Playing With You And Your Family’s Lives

This video highlights the ongoing issue in the FBA community regarding the failure to maintain smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Even those who are listeners of the new Black Media have been caught with beeping smoke detectors when they call up to programs/broadcasts. This needs to change, as it can cause the death of you or a loved one. We review the facts regarding the importance of smoke detectors. We go over various tips and insights about fire + CO alarms, including the different sounds they make. We then show some trained professionals providing a real-life example of a fire and reiterate the importance of having working fire alarms. Later, we review the dangers of carbon monoxide, the cost of a combination fire/CO alarm, and how to replace a hardwire (wire-in) smoke alarm. The hard-wire replacement would be the most difficult one. If you only need to replace the batteries, it is as simple as getting on a ladder, popping out the old battery, and replacing it with a new one. If it is a full replacement of the smoke detector, there are some extra steps that we go over in the video.
