The Lyoya Family Wake Up Call Following the tragic events surrounding the death of Patrick Lyoya by race soldiers in Michigan, his family has since spoken out about the tragedy. But one thing that stuck out to me is a statement made by Patricks' father, Peter when he stated they escaped the Congo due to violence to come to the US only to lose their son to violence.
