The entire situation turned dark and deadly when all 4 were kidnapped resulting in two of them being killed. There are so many questions that still remain due to the location of where they were and how closely related to the cartel that area is. Some are arguing it was a drug deal gone wrong especially since after the story broke, certain outlets were quick to bring up the past of all 4 individuals and it showed that they all had past history dealings with narcotics.
