Despite posting joint statements to Instagram saying they “have nothing but love and respect for one another,” the couple's divorce documents paint a pretty dramatic picture. According to Entertainment Tonight, Kristin reportedly cited “marital misconduct” and “irreconcilable differences” in documents filed April 24, while Jay cited “irreconcilable differences” in documents filed April 21. In other words, Jay pulled the trigger on the divorce, and according to E! News, Kristin was "blindsided" and "didn't know" it was coming. Per a source, "She had hoped they could work things out more amicably and they were off to a good start before Jay pulled the trigger." Jay Cutler in my opinion married down. Kristin Cavallari is a woman who simply wasn't on his level. Due to this, a separation was definitely coming down the stream for this couple.
