Stacey Dash's Ex Husband Said He Was Hypnotized When He Got Married to Her

Stacey Dash isn’t the only person capable of a “mesmerizing” performance. Jeffrey Marty, the fourth husband of the “Clueless” actress, claims in bombshell court documents that Dash’s pastor used hypnosis to compel him to marry his bride back in 2018. New divorce papers, obtained by TMZ, indicate that Marty, an attorney, claims the minister “unexpectedly and suddenly proclaimed that it was God’s will” that he wed Dash. Marty also asserts that he was forced to trudge forward with the wedding because of “hypnotic prayer techniques.” Dash was arrested Sept. 29, 2019, in an alleged domestic violence incident involving Marty, reported the Tampa Bay Times at the time. The Twitter feed of Marty — who like Dash is an outspoken Republican — is rife with political conspiracies, pro-President Trump links and Bible verses. Dash filed for divorce in June, just two years into the marriage. The 53-year-old actress — who briefly was in the running for California’s 44th Congressional District seat in 2018 but dropped out five weeks later — is better known for her extremist views than her film career.
