Michael B. Jordan and Halle Berry are showing public support for Megan thee Stallion after the "WAP" artist revealed it was Tory Lanez who shot her in the feet. The "Savage" rapper took to Instagram Live Thursday to make what she said were clarifications about the night she suffered gunshot wounds in both of her feet. "Yes, this (expletive) Tory shot me," she said before addressing rumors that she was lying about being shot. "You shot me and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying … stop lying. Why lie? I don’t understand." On Friday, Berry tweeted in support of Pete. "Peace. Protection. Respect. For ALL Black Women. ALWAYS. @theestallion, we stand with you. F**k this sh**,"she said in her tweet, hashtagging#ProtectBlackWomen. Jordan shared the same sentiment, praising the Houston rapper for sharing her story. "Meg I admire your courage and applaud you for speaking up. We must Support Black Women, Protect Black Women, and Believe Black Women," he wrote. Chance the Rapper also spoke out on Megan's shooting saying he hopes the incident opens people's eyes to the violence Black women face. "I hope Meg really gets justice for what Tory did to her.
