Are Black men who Support Donald Trump Like Herschel Walker Considered SELL OUTS???

Herschel Walker told USA Today this week President Donald Trump didn’t ask him to make an appearance at the Republican National Convention, the former Georgia running back volunteered. Walker said his stance with Trump has come at a “big cost.” The former NFL running back Monday countered assertions that Trump is racist. Walker said he would not abide a racist. “Some people don’t like his style,” he said. “People on opposing teams didn’t like it when I ran right over them either. But that’s how you get the job done.” Walker, who played for the then-Trump-owned New Jersey Generals of the old USFL from 1984-85, told USA Today his stance has lost him friends. “Losing friends has been a big cost,’' the now 58-year-old Walker said. “I lost some friends, and that’s what’s so strange about it. How could in a country like America you disagree with someone that you now want to injure that person or you just don’t want to talk to them no more? Where did it get that you become a country like that?” In 2018, Walker was appointed by Trump to the President’s Council on Sport, Fitness and Nutrition. Walker, who led the Bulldogs to the 1980 national title and won the 1982 Heisman Trophy, has been outspoken in recent weeks about the Black Lives Matter movement and kneeling at NFL games. “Just because someone loves and respects the flag, our National Anthem, and our country doesn’t mean they don’t care about social justice. I care about all of those things, and so does Donald Trump,” Walker said Monday. “He shows how much he cares about social justice and the Black community through his actions. And his actions speak louder than any stickers or slogans on a jersey.”
