Phil Collins Ex Wife Steals His House and Then Uses His Money To Buy Her New Man A Home

A bailiff has been pictured pinning a court summons to the gates of Phil Collins' Miami mansion as he tries to have his ex-wife evicted from the $32million home. Collins is suing Orianne Cevey for 'an Armed Occupation and Takeover' of the home, claiming she has changed the entry codes, turned away visitors, and hired 'three or four heavily armed individuals' as guards. The Genesis frontman is in the midst of a bitter second split from Cevey - who he divorced in 2008 but moved back in with in 2016 - after she secretly wed another musician in a Las Vegas ceremony in August this year. Cevey, who has two children with Collins, was pictured strolling around Miami with her new husband Tom Bates earlier this month. The bailiff appeared at the waterfront property on Tuesday morning with a notice of the lawsuit, giving Ms Cevey five days to file a defense. Escorted by police officers, he could be seen tucking a large amount of paperwork behind the railings of the gate. At some point the gate was opened by several mask-wearing security guards, who spoke with the officers and the bailiff. After a short conversation the visitors left, with the paperwork left behind. Details of the lawsuit were previously reported by Vanity Fair, which managed to obtain a copy. Collins and Cevey divorced in 2008 but rekindled their romance in 2015 and had been presenting themselves as a married couple, though never actually tied the knot for a second time. A source told The Sun: 'Orianne was living with Phil as his "wife", but flying out to Vegas to see Bradley all the way through 2019 and 2020. 'She bought a house in Vegas where they’d spend time together and didn’t keep it that secret — she’d post photos of his dog and cat on her Instagram. 'She took him to London, Switzerland and France on trips and it appears she lavished money on him.' Swiss-born Cevey met Collins in 1994, when she was 21 and he was 44 and going through a bitter divorce from his second wife, Jill. Hired to translate for Collins during a European tour, Cevey is said to have fallen head over heels for the rocker, and the pair married in 1999. The couple settled in Switzerland and had two children together, but within 15 months of their second son's arrival in 2004, the relationship fell apart.
