Ashanti ignited speculation that she has a new boyfriend after posting a photo with a mystery man on Thursday. While on a trip to Cancun, Mexico, the singer, 40, posed in a cream, sheer dress as she cozied up to an unnamed gentleman in a black sport coat, matching slacks and a white dress shirt. “Great times,” she captioned the Instagram shot. The post, which has garnered 100,000 “likes” and counting, prompted a flurry of questions from Ashanti’s 6.1 million Instagram followers about her potential new romance. “Her new man.👏👏👏,” one commenter speculated. Another fan noted that the rumored relationship had their stamp of approval if the suitor treats Ashanti right. “If he is kind and doesn’t disrepect [sic] you you got my vote,” the fan wrote. A third Instagram user wondered whether the man in question was a member of the staff at Taboo Cancun, the restaurant that Ashanti tagged as her location. “Y’all gotta chill,” the commenter wrote. “Thats the resort ‘host’ and she showing the staff love.. damn you guys married her off one pic damn y’all goofy.” Ashanti cleared the air Friday, however, responding to a post from The Shade Room about the image in question. “Lmaoooo NO!” the singer commented on Instagram. “He’s one of the managers at the restaurant!!! Fellow singer Ginuwine replied to Ashanti’s posts, calling her “Beautiful as always,” while rapper Flo Rida commented, “🙌🙌🙌.” Recently, Ashanti addressed rumors that she and Flo Rida, 41, were an item after photos from a vacation with loved ones surfaced online, Essence reported this month. In response to a post from The Shade Room that included the hashtag #IsThatYourMan OrNah, Ashanti wrote: “Aht aht ✋🏽 Flo is my brother! We’re family!
