Alex Rodriguez is hoping for one more turn at the plate. The former New York Yankees slugger is holding out hope of a reconciliation with actress/singer Jennifer Lopez. That’s according to US Weekly. “A-Rod will not give up on his and J. Lo’s relationship,” a source tells Us Weekly exclusively. “He is willing to do anything to make it work.” The now-ex couple officially announced the end of their relationship on April 15 with a statement provided to the “Today” show: We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support. Despite that announcement, the New York Post’s Page Six reports Rodriguez and Lopez had dinner Friday night at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. It’s the same ritzy restaurant where they went on their first date back in 2017. Lopez also reportedly owns a $28 million mansion in the neighborhood. ... It’s unclear what the friendly Oscar weekend dinner was about. ... Insiders said the pair was amicable during the meeting and “there still seemed to be love and respect there.”
