Nicki Minaj was all set to make her live show comeback at the 2021 MTV VMAs this weekend but had to pull out. She had revealed a few days ago that she was supposed to perform on the stage but had to call it off but did not mention the reason. But today, Nicki was active on Twitter and created a whole lot of storm due to her opinions on COVID vaccinations. She first revealed that she had to cancel her VMAs performance due to testing positive for COVID-19. “I was prepping for vmas then i shot a video & guess who got COVID? Do u know what it is not to be able to kiss or hold your tiny baby for over a week? A baby who is only used to his mama? “get vaccinated” Drake had just told me he got covid w|THE VACCINE tho so chile,” she said. The conversation was linked to another tweet she had sent out where she said she wasn’t sure about taking the vaccine yet as she is still doing her research. She made it pretty clear that she wasn’t an anti-vax person but a little hesitant due to hearing experiences in close family including a cousin’s friend whose testicles became swollen after they took the vaccine shot. “They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. if I get vaccinated it won’t for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one,” she wrote.
