Female Police Officer Gets Arrested For Interfering With an Investigation Over Her Dope Dealing MAN

A former City of South Fulton police officer who resigned amid an internal affairs investigation is out of jail after investigators arrested and charged her with multiple felonies last month. Channel 2′s Michael Seiden spoke with an off-duty officer who said he was just as stunned to learn about the charges that could potentially land the former officer in prison. She’s accused of abusing her badge to protect her boyfriend. Investigators say Aliyah Jackson, 27, who joined the city’s police force in 2019, was booked into jail last month on felony charges after police said she tried to interfere with a major police operation targeting metro Atlanta’s most notorious drug dealers and gang members. Among the suspects was Jackson’s boyfriend, Kenneth Copeland, a convicted felon and documented gang member who served time in federal prison in 2018. It’s unclear how long the two have been in a relationship, but police arrested Copeland on Oct. 27 after they say he was caught driving his girlfriend’s car with a loaded gun inside.
