Angela Simmons Son Keeps Asking Why No Man Has Married Her YET....

Back in 2018, Angela Simmons, unfortunately, lost her former fiancé and the father of her son Sutton Tennyson. He was unfortunately fatally shot while at his home. During a recent appearance on the “Tamron Hall Show,” Angela opened up about how Sutton’s passing affected her, as well as her grieving process and where she is today. When talking about how she felt after first hearing the unfortunate news, Angela said, “When I first heard the news, I couldn’t really accept that or understand it, and then all of a sudden I was numb. I never understood what it was to physically feel numb, but that day I was literally like I literally don’t feel my body.” Angela continued to share that she immediately went to therapy to help her through the process. While expressing how grateful she is for those in her corner, she also shared that her son, Sutton Jr., always asks about his father, which causes her to have a constant conversation about their loss. During the interview, Angela also shared that her son, who is now 6 years old, is ready for her to start dating again. “He’s like, are we ever going to get married? Is someone going to marry us? Or he’ll ask stuff like that,” she said. “This was a touching conversation because he told me ‘I know my dad is heaven and I’m gonna always have two dads because I know my dad will be my dad, but mommy when can we have someone? When will somebody be there for us?'” As previously reported, Michael Williams, the man convicted of killing Sutton, was sentenced to life in prison for the crime. He also received an additional 15 years for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He won’t be eligible for parole until he serves a minimum of 30 years in prison.
