Cheerleader Attacks Basketball Player ...And INSTANTLY Regrets IT!

A cheerleader was ejected from a college basketball game between Mississippi Valley State and Alabama A&M after having an altercation with a player. Mississippi Valley State had just made two free throws to tie the score 63-63 with a little over three minutes remaining in the conference game. However, on the inbound pass, Alabama A&M's Dailin Smith appeared to get too close to a Mississippi Valley State cheerleader as she attempted a stunt on the baseline. The cheerleader took the opportunity to walk on to the court and confront the player. She appeared to lightly shove his shoulder to grab his attention and said something, although it is not clear what was said or for how long the interaction lasted as footage cut away. The commentators calling the game then began discussing the incident, while a woman in the background can be heard yelling for security. 'The Alabama A&M coach, he's fussing and cussing,' Caleb Brunson, one member of the broadcast said. Meanwhile, Andre Williams, the other member of the broadcast team, added that the Mississippi Valley Coach was 'losing it'. After a brief pause, Brunson revealed that 'they're gonna put one of the cheerleaders out of the game.' Seven members of security staff then made their way across the court towards the Mississippi Valley State cheerleaders' section. One wrapped their arm around her shoulder and appeared to tell her she needed to leave before she turned to the bench to grab her jacket. But the drama in the game didn't end there. The game came down to the wire with Alabama State needing a buzzer beater to win 70-68.
