She Gave Pookie a Chance at Love...But Here's How HE BETRAYED HER

The body of a missing Florida woman was found in a storage unit registered to her estranged husband, according to authorities. The Orange County Sheriff's Office said they are investigating the case as a homicide after they responded Sunday to Self Storage in Apopka and found Shakira Rucker dead inside. Rucker was last seen on Nov. 11 leaving her home in the City of Winter Springs, according to the Winter Springs Police Department. A reward of up to $5,000 was being offered after her family told police she left her home for an "unknown destination," possibly with her estranged husband, Cory Hill. Orange County Sheriff John Mina said during a news conference Sunday that deputies received a 911 call on Saturday about a smell coming from the unit and when deputies responded they found Rucker dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Mina stated that Hill is the prime suspect in the case and it is only a matter of time before he is charged. Hill is currently booked at the Orange County Jail for an unrelated shooting on Nov. 13, Mina said. He has been charged with four counts of attempted murder after reportedly shooting at a former girlfriend and her family on Nov. 12, Mina said during the news conference. Winter Springs Police Chief Matthew Tracht said the investigation expanded into four counties and included assistance from several law enforcement agencies, including the FBI.
