Diddy has sold his remaining stake in Revolt TV to an anonymous buyer. According to TMZ, his shares were sold for an undisclosed sum, though it will remain Black-owned. The outlet also details that the new Revolt boss wants to remain anonymous during this time. However, they plan to announce their arrival “in the coming weeks.” No other details surrounding the sale have been shared. Sexual assault allegations lodged against Diddy sent a shockwave throughout Revolt in 2023. In fact, journalist Dawn Montgomery decided to leave the company. Montgomery explained that she couldn’t work at Revolt if Diddy was involved in any way. Montgomery, a host on Revolt’s Monuments to Me podcast, announced her departure shortly after Cassie released her bombshell lawsuit. “FYI: I won’t be signing on to do the 3rd season of @revolttv’s Monuments To Me podcast. I am a [sexual assault] survivor & I cannot be a part of a show that’s supposed to uplift black women while @Diddy leads the company. Believe Black women,” she typed at the time.
