He allegedly paid a woman $100 to falsely claim that she was the one sending text messages to his employee, offering the 18-year-old $2,000 to sleep with him. Dennis Harvey, who was previously reported for offering the same 18-year-old $2,000 to spend the night with him, initially claimed he had mistakenly sent the messages to the wrong person. However, new messages obtained by The North Carolina Beat reveals that he was in contact with a woman to have her pretend to be his niece and lie about sending inappropriate texts to his newly hired employee. Dollar General has not yet responded regarding Harvey’s employment status at the Dollar General on Goldrock Road after the mother of the 18-year-old, Jett Lynch, publicly accused him of attempting to seduce her son.
