Judge Mathis Cries Tears When His Wife Does THE UNTHINKABLE

Judge Mathis’ estranged wife Linda wants his support. Linda Mathis filed for divorce from her husband of 39 years Gregory Mathis on Aug. 22, according to court documents obtained by E! News. In the filing, Linda listed the date of the former couple’s separation as July 17, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. As for what the mother of four is seeking from her ex, Linda has requested spousal support while asking that the court waive Greg’s right to request support from her. E! News has reached out to reps for comment but has not heard back. The judge has a decades-spanning career on TV, first on his show Judge Mathis, which aired from 1999 to 2023 and then on the spin-off, Mathis Court With Judge Mathis, which premiered in fall 2023. The 61-year-old also appeared with Linda and their four kids—daughters Jade, 39, and Camara, 36, as well as sons Greg Jr., 35, and Amir, 34—on the E! reality series Mathis Family Matters in 2022.
