NFL Player REGRETS Doing THIS To His Girlfriend

Jabrill Peppers, a star safety for the New England Patriots who was voted a team captain this season, was arrested Saturday morning and faces charges related to assault and battery, and possession. Braintree (Mass.) police responded to a call at a residence regarding a dispute between two people. According to the police report, a victim was treated by EMS at the scene. Peppers was charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation, and possession of a Class “B” substance believed to be d0pe. Peppers pled not guilty Monday at Quincy District Court. His case was continued to Nov. 22 and he was ordered to avoid the alleged female victim. “We are aware of an incident involving Jabrill Peppers over the weekend in which the police are currently investigating,” the Patriots said in a statement. “We will have no further comment at this time.” During his Monday morning news conference, Patriots coach Jerod Mayo said that he spoke with Peppers after the incident Saturday morning, then reached out to the league. It’s unclear yet whether Peppers will be suspended or placed on the commissioner’s exempt list. “I’m not sure how the league and we are going to handle that going forward, but we should find out some more information in the next few days,” Mayo said. Mayo said Peppers wouldn’t come to the team facility Monday and players generally have Tuesdays off. It’s unclear whether Peppers will participate in practice on Wednesday, but Mayo indicated that Peppers will be welcomed back to the team as they await a resolution. “As we gather information, he can definitely be in the building,” Mayo said. “We don’t know enough to say he shouldn’t be in the building.”
