The woman accused of deleting prominent Memphis pastor Ricky Floyd during an argument pleaded not guilty in her first court appearance Thursday morning. Samantha Marion, 42, is charged with voluntary manslaughter. She is being held on a $100,000 bail, but a hearing on altering her bail is set for Friday. Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy, after the hearing, said his office currently does not have plans to ask for a higher bail, but that his office "may likely oppose any motion to reduce bail." "Pastor Floyd was a beloved member of the community," Mulroy added. "He was tireless in his efforts to improve the community and to work on a lot of things, including crime. His death is clearly a tragedy.
