Two former Shelby County deputies face decertification after their firings last year for allegedly bringing a drunk woman to a hotel so one could have clap sessions with her. Michael Yzaguirre and Sheldon Smith were fired from Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in mid-2024 over violations of SCSO’s regulations.
