Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten confirmed to NewsOne that Reginald Butler was charged with felony aggravated assault and has since been released on $50,000 bond. Patten noted that when the investigation began, it was “unclear” who the aggressor was in the second confrontation between Butler and the white male he is accused of shooting. Investigators later determined that the shooting victim — who Patten said was not a member of the same group of men who attacked Butler during the first incident — was the aggressor in the second altercation with Butler.
