Gay Black Conservative Never Expected THIS From WHITES!

My take on this whole situation with Rob Smith is simple: the man completely miscalculated his leverage in the Republican party, and he got burned for it. This whole mess shows that black conservatives only get a platform if they stick to the script: call out the black community for being on the "Democratic plantation," talk smack about white liberals, and—this is the most important part—never, ever challenge white men on the right. Smith, who is an Ivy League-educated, gay black conservative, tried to preach that black people should "move like these white men" by building businesses and not asking for permission [01:06]. Then, he was shocked when he got mocked by the "good old white men" he praised. They trolled him about his sexuality [02:40] and even used racial slurs. He got so mad that he went on CNN—a network he usually trashes—to "tell on" those same white men [03:10]. Then, he insulted the party again by calling out the "overweight white men of the Republican party," saying they were getting "ugly again" [04:43]. He didn't get the memo, and that's why he was kicked to the curb. He violated the unspoken rules of the political space he wanted to join. Now, he's stuck in a political no-man's-land: Republicans don't want him, and he doesn't like Democrats. The lesson here for all blacks—conservative or otherwise—is that if you don't own your own platform and control your own narrative, you have zero leverage. If you're only seeking acceptance from a group you don't own, you'll always be subservient and ultimately, you'll be mocked. That's why he's "lost" and flailing around. Stop asking for permission and start building your own damn thing! Shout out to @TheAmazingLucas for this video and inspiration the guy is truly talented.
