Macon-born author Tina McElroy Ansa, 74, died this week. Many of her novels were inspired by growing up in Macon The author of “Baby of the Family,” “The Hand I Fan,” “Ugly Ways” and “Taking After Mudear” and Spelman alum, made transition on September 10, 2024.
